With the crypto sector becoming more and more mainstream, and regulation becoming more clear, the job market in the industry has picked back up after crypto winter.

If you’re looking for a crypto job then you’re in the right place, as we’re going to show you five of the best crypto job boards to look at when searching for a crypto job. Let’s jump in.

Five Sites for Finding Crypto Jobs

We’re going to discuss five crypto job board sites in no particular order, including whether you need to create an account and what type of jobs the site is best for finding. Let’s start with BitcoinJobs.

BitcoinJobs.com

BitcoinJobs.com is a job board for, you guessed it, Bitcoin Jobs. The site is focused on providing job listing for careers with Bitcoin companies, such as mining companies, or those looking to build applications on the Bitcoin blockchain. You don’t need to sign up or create an account to use the job board.

Cryptocurrencyjobs.co

Cryptocurrencyjobs.co describes itself as “The leading job board for blockchain jobs and cryptocurrency jobs” and has job postings from companies like Fidelity and Coinbase. You can sign up to have new jobs sent to your inbox but don’t need to.

Web3.career

Web3.career is a job board focused on jobs within the Web3 sector, though they mainly just mean with Web3 companies. You can find technical and non-technical jobs on the platform, create a profile for easy applications, or simply sign up for updated job listings.

Cryptojobslist.com

Cryptojobslist.com was launched in 2017 by a guy who was looking for crypto jobs but finding it difficult to locate them. As a result, CryptoJobsList is one of the best crypto job boards to this day. You can find all sorts of jobs on the site and don’t need to create an account.

Cryptojobs.com

Cryptojobs.com is just like CryptoJobsList but you are required to create a profile and CV in order to apply to any jobs on the site. Though this can be a tedious process to do in the beginning, it will likely save you time as you apply to jobs through the site.

Types of Crypto Jobs

Below are some of the types of jobs you can find in the crypto sector, many of them overlap with jobs in tech, which may mean that you already have experience for these jobs.

The jobs below do generally require some level of technical skills, but many crypto job boards post jobs that don’t necessarily require as much technical skill such as sales and marketing.

  • Account Executive
  • Backend Developer
  • Business Development Representative
  • Customer Support Representative
  • Data Engineer
  • Developer Relations
  • DevOps Engineer
  • Frontend Developer
  • Full-Stack Engineer
  • Graphic Designer
  • Growth Marketer
  • Legal Counsel
  • Marketing Specialist
  • UI Designer
  • UX Designer

Crypto Job Salaries

Crypto job salaries tend to be in line if not a little higher than traditional tech jobs, and can often be in the six-figure range. With Web3 expected to continue to expand and draw in more investment over the coming decade, it’s possible that crypto jobs will start to outpace traditional alternatives over time.

Jobs With Crypto Companies

Though the job boards noted above are great ways to find jobs within the sector, they’re often with newer companies with a less proven track record. If you’re serious about a job in crypto and already have a good amount of experience, you may be better off trying to find a job with larger crypto companies, such as Coinbase. Some other proven crypto companies that you can find crypto jobs with are:

Binance

Largest crypto exchange by trading volume.

Kraken

One of the most reputable crypto exchanges other than Coinbase.

Ledger

Hardware wallet company with global reach.

Block

Parent company of many popular apps such as CashApp and Square.

Consensys

Company that created the MetaMask crypto wallet.

Closing Thoughts

There are lots of ways to find a crypto job, with the sites on this page serving as a great starting point if you’re looking for postings.

Having experience in the sector is certainly a bonus, but many of these companies are looking for employees who are enthusiastic about blockchain, so if that sounds like you, then you really don’t have much to lose.
